A while ago, I introduced the basic principle of induction heating, the classification of induction heating, and talked about the differences between induction heating surface quenching and ordinary heating quenching.
Compared with ordinary heating quenching, it has:
1. The heating speed is extremely fast, which can expand the temperature range of A-body transformation and shorten the transformation time.
2. After quenching, the surface of the workpiece can obtain extremely fine cryptocrystalline martensite with slightly higher hardness (2-3HRC). Low brittleness and high fatigue strength.
3. The workpieces processed by this process are not easily oxidized and decarburized, and some workpieces can be directly assembled and used after treatment.
4. The hardened layer is deep, easy to control and operate, and easy to achieve mechanization and automation.
